In 2001, Leon and his wife Nina, planted the ‘Shavei Tzion’ (Return to Zion) community in Haifa, Israel, to help reach Russian Jews from the former Soviet Union. Since then, it has grown from a fledgling Messianic Jewish congregation into a multi-faceted center.
