Blessings and greetings to you during this holiday season, wherever you are! More and more, we are being deeply reminded of the power of extended family. All of us who walk together by faith are part of this extended family!

You are part of our global family! And what is it that you get when you are part of a family? Something very special.

  • You get a shared identity.

  • You get a shared sense of belonging.

  • You get a shared inheritance!

I am thankful that we will be gathering with all our children and grandchildren for Thanksgiving here in Jerusalem.  However, thanksgiving is more than a day; it is more than a daily exercise. It is a total mental attitude, a lifestyle of faith.

One of the most repeated phrases in the Bible is “Give thanks to the Lord for He is good for His grace is forever.” – Psalm 136:1

הֹודוּ לַיהוה כִּי־טֹוב כִּי לְעֹולָם חַסְדֹּו

This is such a foundational expression of our heart toward a good and loving God.  God does exist. And He is a good God. He is all-powerful. He loves us and is for us. We live in the midst of His grace.

Expressing thanks is in itself the solution to almost every problem. King Yehoshaphat was surrounded by enemy armies. They were about to be destroyed. The people of Israel cried out: Give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His mercy is forever.

And what happened?

II Chronicles 20:22

And at the time they began in song and praise, the Lord gave ambushes on the children of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir who had come against Judah; and they were struck.

At their singing thanksgiving, all their enemies fought against one another. They were delivered without raising a sword.

In many languages, the word for “thank you” is the same as the word for “grace”. In Spanish, gracias says both.  God gives us grace; we live in grace; all we have to do is say “grace, grace.”

The Prophet Zechariah, King Zerubbabel, and Joshua the Priest were set before an impossible task. A mountain had to be moved. The word of the Lord came through Zechariah to Zerubbabel:

Zechariah 4:7

Who are you, O great mountain before Zerubabbel? You will become a plain. And He will bring out the head stone with shouts of “Grace, grace” to it.

The expressing of grace can change a bad situation into a good one.

Any person can say thanks after something good happens. But we can also say thanks BEFORE, by faith. Any bad situation can be an opportunity for a breakthrough. We say thank you to God because we trust Him. He responds as He always does with love, grace and power.

If that were the case, then we should give thanks in every situation and for every situation. Exactly.

Ephesians 5:20

Giving thanks to God at all times for all things…

(Eucharisteo – giving thanks; pantote – at all times; pas – for all things)

Any thing becomes a blessing as we give thanks for it (I Timothy 4:4). Thanksgiving is the verbal “passcode” to open the gates of God’s presence (Psalm 100:4). We say our prayers together with thanking God ahead of time (Philippians 4:6).

I want to end with a prayer of thanksgiving for each and every one of you who have stood with us all these years as partners in faith for our service to the Lord.

Philippians 1:3-5 (NKJ)

3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4 always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, 5 for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now.

Thank you so much for your fellowship, support, prayers, and partnership with us. We really appreciate you. You are a source of joy. All what is ours is yours.

In Yeshua’s love,

Most people are not aware of how unreached Israel is. In fact, there are believers who think Israel is a Christian nation!

The truth is quite to the contrary. Only about .3% of Jewish Israelis are Messianic believers in Yeshua. Out of 9 million+ people, that's not a lot. But the good news is that it only takes a little light to brighten up the darkest spaces!

Come with me on a little walking tour of Tel Aviv while I share with you some of the amazing ways that Revive Israel Tikkun Global is sharing the good news of our Messiah with the Jewish people.

"...you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

We are all called to be witnesses of Yeshua and His kingdom and at Revive Israel Tikkun Global that is what we are doing every day.

With your financial support and prayers, we will go further than ever before next year sharing the gospel with Israelis from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and from Haifa to the Galilee and beyond!

Update | October 25, 2022

In a race, each runner has a starting and ending point. This point both anchors and propels the runner to intimately know his or her race, plot out the track, and aim precisely for the victorious ending. Here in Israel, our leadership team is reminded of our FIRST CALLING—the Great Commission—our starting and ending point: we are witnesses of Yeshua.

Beloved, this reminder is for you also. You are part of us, but more importantly, you are part of Him.

This fall, we have an important goal to meet to fund the work of taking the Good News throughout Israel in 2023. You are part of us, and we hope you will enthusiastically join this endeavor.

Raising this much-needed $850,000 before December 31st, 2022, means entering the new year with stability and capacity to release and empower our teams to continue their courageous work as witnesses of Yeshua in Israel through

√ Discipleship
√ Evangelism
√ Humanitarian aid
√ Hospitality
√ Teaching
√ Worship
√ Prayer

You have been filled with the power of the Spirit of the Living God to live in His light and be a witness to His Life. You give witness of Yeshua to the world as you walk in love, hope, holiness, and wisdom. The fruit of the Spirit through you testifies of His Kingdom!

What a true and stunning calling each of us has! This Good News has gone from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth and returned. When Yeshua gave the commission to be His witnesses to Jerusalem, Samaria, and the ends of the earth, He foresaw the opportunities awaiting not only the Jewish disciples but awaiting you!

The mandate and invitation to spread the gospel was given to Jew and Gentile. You have faithfully done this in Israel through your partnership in prayer, friendship, and finances with Revive Israel | Tikkun Global.

As a partner, you are a frontline ambassador to the Jewish people—no matter where you live or if you speak Hebrew. We are honored to have your love and support.

The Revive Israel Tikkun Global Team would be honored to have your support, in prayer and in generous giving, through the remainder of 2022. We will be sharing plans and news via email and letters in your mailbox, testifying about how His Kingdom is advancing here in Israel—you are sure to be encouraged.

Love in Yeshua,

The Vision

by Asher Intrater

I am so happy to have a chance to share my heart with you. Even though our team sat in our office with a video camera to record my message for you, and I could not SEE you, I could FEEL you. You are right here with us in Israel in spirit, and we truly feel your love and support.  My message is short, but I pray you are blessed and encouraged.

From the First to the Twenty-First Century: You will be My witnesses.

Do you realize that for all of the 21st Century, daily prayer has been raised from Israel with a longing that many would see, know, and believe in Yeshua as the Messiah? And we fervently believe that the Holy Spirit has been given to empower all His children to be His witnesses.

In Jerusalem. In all of Judea and Samaria. Throughout Israel. And to the ends of the earth.

A core tenet of this ministry is a wholehearted commitment to the work and the hope of the Great Commission. As Messianic Jews, world evangelism is part of our calling, just as it was for the original Messianic community in the First Century and just as it is for you, our beloved friends. We urge you to wholeheartedly see yourself as one who has been given power from the Holy Spirit to bear witness of Him. You do that in your hometown, country, and in His (earthly) “hometown” of Israel through your generosity and friendship.

Your partnership is the fuel for us to run with this Good News here in Israel. You are running with us proclaiming His eternal love, mercy, and redemption to all who will hear from wherever you are!

We are witnesses of Him to all the earth! How astounding.
